RBA Group was honoured to participate in the seminar “Protecting Intellectual Property Rights: Opportunities and Challenges in the Digital Era,” hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and the Institute for Research on Training and Human Resource Development.

Julien Tran, Country Director of RBA Vietnam, delivered an insightful presentation on “The Protection of Trademarks in the Digital Era,” addressing the growing risks of trademark violations in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape. He emphasized the need to strengthen legal frameworks, integrate advanced technologies, and foster coordination across interdisciplinary agencies.

Dr. Nguyen Thai Cuong, PhD – Head of the Institute of Comparative Law and Academic Adviser to RBA – highlighted the challenges of intellectual property protection on e-commerce platforms, where counterfeit goods are increasingly prevalent. He proposed practical solutions for protecting copyrights, trademarks, and consumer rights, stressing the importance of aligning IP strategies with technological advancements.

This seminar provided a valuable platform for legal and academic professionals to exchange insights, strengthening RBA’s ongoing commitment to supporting clients with robust legal strategies in the digital age.
